For the last 10 years except last years me and my 3 kids have always gone sking at Thanksgiving. We have always gone to the U.P. but this year no snow. So a friend of mine has moved to Dillon and made his home available and now I have 2 additional drivers so Colorado is an option. The 16 hour drive from Chicago area is not an issue we will leave after dinner on Thanksgiving. I know that Colorado recieved snow and I realize that conditions and runs will be not 100%. The question is which ski resort has or will have the most runs open (we would like a little variety not just 3 or 4 runs) on 11/23, 11/24 and 11/25. Based on observations it appears as if Loveland, A-Basin, Keystone and Copper Mountain. Might be the options (We never have skied at any of these places but many others in Colorado) Any first hand observation or information will be helpful. We will be starting our trip on 11/22/07 at 6:00pm cst.
