Wide boots in small size needed

My brother needs new boots. He liked the Atomic B 90, but the problem is that 25,5 is too big - he would need the 25, which would in this case
mean smaller shell size. These are not produced, so he needs to find another model that would be wide enough, or at least wide enough to be modified to be good. Any good ideas for him? Small, wide feet, muscular calves.

Nordica Beast and Lange Fluid series both go down to 24. Fluid works very well for "pancake" shaped feet.

a 25.5 and a 25.00 are the same shell size. (Check the boot sole length, example 295mm I believe is close to what you should have for a25 to 25.5 shared shell. Un fortunately a 25 will stetch out fairly quickly and be to big. Get shell fit to see where he really is in that boot. Nobody breaks for a half shell size with the exception of a few plug boots. The only diffrernce is the insole thickness. 25.5 has a thin insole. Dolomites also tend to run wider also the "HVL" grouping from Tecnica. Check with some of the boot guys over on the "Boot Guys" thread for a little more insight. It is a very good collection a boot fitters over there.

fairly sure atomic uses the same shell size for the half size and the next size up (ie, 25.5 and 26 are same BSL). someone else on the market may do it too.

25,5 and 26 are the same shell size in Atomics. That is why the 25 is needed... I will post my question in the other thread as well. Thanks!

25.5 and 26 are the same size shell in the atomic B series, but in all other atomic boots they change shell sizes on the half size. 25 and 25.5 would be the same size shell in all other atomic boots. He should try something in the atomic M series. Only 2 mm narrower (102 M series versus 104 B series) and could be stretched and or ground to make up this 2 mm difference.
