Welcome. (an apology to the two referenced above would take you a long way around here.)

Mom

You agreed to the t's and c's of this forum when you registered, but evidently you didn't read them.

I think the age expectation of the forum members here is evident in this thread alone.

I'll be happy to wait to put you on time out until we have a pm exchange to clarify.
i'm sorry! when do i have to stop?

SBLS, you show some maturity, Hope you turn 13 soon so you can join in!

SBLS,
Well it's nice to know you are going to the right internet sites. That says alot about you and your joy in skiing. Enjoy your ski season. Has it started for you yet ?
And, no one stomped on your opinion, just the use of idiot. No name calling, this is not school. Advice from another parent (again) one never has to call an idiot an idiot, they never agree with you & everyone knows already. We show kindness toward idiots. NOT refering to anyone you said that to or infered that about on this thread. (no one take that the wrong way plz)

Please don't come to Mammoth. You won't like it regardless of your ability level. It's just a little teensy boring slag heap without anything much to ski on. They only called it Mammoth because they were exaggerating. So you can just go away now, there's nothing left here for you to see or do. Just go...bye bye now.

Wow! I hope you appreciate your parents. I bet not many kids 12 years old have had the opportunity to ski as many great mountains all over the west as you. And you live in Baltimore so that's not that easy to do.

I think that the reply of "ski big look small" that he's only 12 is just another sarcastic put-on. The guy is clearly a jerk. Putting him off the forum is totally appropriate.

Since I am an idiot and still do not know quite what and intermediate/expert really is I am going to assume its a hack that can ski double black diamonds.

Best areas are :
Buttermilk
Steamboat
Keystone
Breckenridge
Copper
Vail
Park City
Deer Valley
Angle Fire
Mammoth
