Yes, Harry is correct. For the 50% above it would be 50-33-17% for above normal and below. The interesting thing is that if you look at this page http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/product...churchill.html almost every map shows normal and above normal with just one that has any below normal...through next Dec. Wierd.

In mn, I would like to see something like "more precipitation then normal" predicted. Last winter, it was -10 for weeks, but no snow. It actually snowed 8" once or twice last winter. Then it all melted a week later. IIRC, it snowed a couple inches a few times. It *did* rain an inch on new year's eve, though.

I was considering picking up some used nordic stuff, but then I realized that it just doesn't really snow in mn. Same with my snowmobile, I was considering doing some stuff to it, but then realized I can use it about a week, and that's it.

Might be a good winter to go to Salt Lake City for the Lake Effect snow there. :
