For women skiers - If you haven't had the chance to hear Jeannie Thoren speak about women's specific equipment or better yet to have a one/one session with her, you may be missing a incredible opportunity.

I saw her presentation this week and I had a one/one meeting with her. I have had problematic boots all along but what she demonstrated for me first hand was an understanding of how the boots should flex and how that feels........this may seem silly to more experienced skiers .....but it was a big AHA moment for me.

My boots (entry level boots) do not allow me to flex to the degree that I need to and it makes a huge difference in how my knees,hips are positioned over the skis. I was already planning on new boots and am looking at all mountain skis but with this understanding of how easy it can be to move the way you're supposed to move, a step up in improvement seems inevitable.
