I keep hearing that one should mount forward or back for various reasons. back for powder, forward to shorten the ski, back for stability, forward for easier turning, and so on. Can anyone provide accurate information? Don't the manufacturers know where to put the boot line (some do mark several lines)? Is there a difference for a twin tip not skied switch? If a ski is long for a person, does forward mount make the ski easier to handle? Does the model (Bro Model, B-Squad) of the ski affect the decision to mount forward or back? thanks for the help.
