Yeah, they look like it. How long are they? I usually recommend going three to four inches less than your standard alpine length. I'm almost 5'10", and I ski with 42" poles. They're a pain on the flats for sure, but definitely make a world of difference in the bumps.
Joe covered everything pretty well (as you'd expect from a mogul coach
). One more point to look at re: pole plants. As Joe mentioned, they're a little too far to the sides instead of down the hill. But also, be aware of where your arms go right after the plant. Your hands are getting pulled back pretty far following the plant, which also leads to the mid-back position Joe was describing.
Overall fantastic short radius turns, though. Looks like you'll adapt quite well into WC style bump turns.
