Also happy to act as Guide at Silver, Slider, Mattidude and I had a good day last year.
Look forward to seeing and skiing and drinking with everyone again.
I'm quite sure you'd find it worthy of the drive. It's a very down home place with some very friendly and dedicated skiers. I wasn't kidding about the local custom of waiting at the bottom. When I first started skiing there I would huff and puff trying to keep up with the regulars who seemed to have a real aversion to stopping at all. I became converted, not only to skiing top to bottom nonstop, but to skiing much faster than I ever had before.
Now the usual lap up to the top and down takes less than half an hour, including 17 minutes it takes, on the two lifts, to reach the top. As the saying here goes "There's plenty of time to rest when you're on the lift."
I'll be glad to show you guys around, but beware, before Christmas there are still plenty of sharp rocks to be found, especially if you're seeking the goods. I expect that the bowls should have at least moderate coverage by then (we were 100% open by then last year), but I wouldn't bring your most precious toys unless La Nina really cranks it up like the rumors are suggesting.
It will be cool to hoist a few brews with you again, as well as Jeff, Bonni, Garry, and whoever else makes it (newfy?).
