Yes Max I do believe that the outside ski is coming off the snow in the last three turns. I believe in the first three turns that the inside ski is coming off the snow. I would venture to say that both are coming off the snow on nearly every turn. This is probably due to over enthusiasm because of the camera being on. I think the skier is trying to get more out of the slope than is there for the camera sort of like pumping a swing set to get higher. I tend to do this here in Ohiya on our gentle terrain we call black. These are more what we call leaper turns.
Clearly there is ILE and good center of mass flow. I do not see a pressure transfer to the inside ski that would make me believe these were White Pass turns. In two of the turns I even see a little bit of redirection.
I think Rick could have picked a different video to show pure carved turns with no redirection using ILE.
I always have to look at things from your consistent point of view Max in order to understand where you are coming from.
