Super 8 in Midvale, Utah

I'm looking for cheap lodging for Dec. 10-14 in SLC. Any early season deals at any of the resorts? We will most likely be skiing Deer Valley (quick start), Alta/Bird, and Snowbasin. Unless conditions are superior at other places (Brighton and Solitude.)

I was looking at the Super 8 in Midvale. It looks pretty nice and is about $53 a night with my AAA discount. I know the two Extended Stay Americas are pretty popular here but they are about $20 more a night.

Thanks for your help Bears.

last year i checked out super 8 and my buddy stayed there, we both agreed Midvale La Quinta(up the road a mile or so) was nicer and worth the couple extra bucks, but Super 8 will certainly suit your needs. No, there is no apres-skli but you can see the mouth of the Little Cottonwood from the parking lot, what more do you need?

I am heading out just before you, Dec 6-9.
note: last year early snowfall was poor and the alta/snowbird base was reported at only 40", but I was extremely pleased by the early season conditions. don't fret! your going to utah...

Thanks Snowbirddevotee, I listened to you and booked at the La Quinta. It was only $2 more a night ($55.80 with my AAA discount.)

some people try to screw utah up with travel agents and "packages", how can you possibly beat
$56/2 = $28
ski = $52? this year?, at the hotel desk
now get a hertz outback online at orbitz and your set. better yet, do the salt lake shuffle, ski till 1pm and be home in Pa. that night.
