I put together a pretty cool/hot boot heater in my Outback. I had some old vacuum cleaner hose kickin' around (or at a thrift store), about 2" d. I flattened one end of two pieces of 24" hose into about a 3/4" X 2 1/2" rectangular box tube and slid those box ends over the heater ducts under the driver's seat. a little caulk around the connection. there you have it. I either put one hose in each boot or I put the boots into a waterproof duffel and shove the hoses in the end of the duffel. warm, pliable boots, even if they had to sit in the car for a while, or if you have to do something mid-day and get back into them later in the afternoon. cost. nothing. ya gotta luv it.
