Quite the drama in that article. Give me a break. So don't drink Coke on an empty stomach, but frankly, they're making it sound like you drink one Coke and you're going to be diabetic and piss your bone marrow out into your toilet... For God's sake don't live on the stuff, but as part of a balanced diet, having snack food like that every now and then just isn't a problem. And the declaration that it will turn into fat doesn't hold water. It could if you already had enough calories in your body to satisfy your caloric needs, but frankly if you eat too much protein powder you'll turn the excess into fat from that!
