Salomon Equipe 10T 3 V Race Question! Good for learning how to carve?

Bought a used pair of above mentioned read skis, length 150cm, for an not very athletic mother of one of my students. She skis on old almost straight skis at the moment and she is taking part in some local club races. Can anyone give some feedback on skis in question. Do you think they are ok for her? My # one priority for her right now is that she needs to learn how to carve.

The T addon in the name means that this is a junior ski. Probably just an advantage for the older women with no carving experience. I would say it´s right about perfect. Normally skiers like this can learn on anything short, light and turny because they have no references of other carving skis.

Thanks for the info. I was not sure since the adult skis are very stiff.
