Of all the threads that Trotski has started, what percentage have yielded useful skiing knowledge?

Feel free to discuss this further.... Here are some additional questions, should you wish to address them:
  • Are they intended to be useful, or are they merely for entertainment?
  • What percentage of Trotski's workday would you guess is devoted to thinking up obscure questions that are only mildly related to skiing?
  • What do you think he probably does for a living???
  • Is he REALLY interested in whether or not you are a "first generation" skier? (for example)

Discuss.

I find them to be very amusing and entertaining. I appreciate his sarcasm and wit. And isn't that why we all hang here, to be entertained while we wait for snow...? Hmm...I think there might be a poll or thread in that somewhere!

In one of his threads I learned that East Coast skiing is slightly worse than Hell, but I can't remember which one.

I suppose if they help him in any way they are 'useful'.

Sometimes it's relevant and useful, sometimes it's not.
I've made the point before, but why not pass up an opportunity to repeat myself.

If you rarely ski... what are you talking about and why are you here?

I was creating a masterpiece of a post

Then you went and deflated my delusions of posterity.

I'am here when / because I can't ski.
When I'm in the moutains, I don't need to talk skiing on the internet.

(yes, that was directed at trotski, but should concern quite a few posters here.)

This thread gives me way more credit than I'm due, but I'm flattered. The truth is, no one really cares that much, except for small people with sad little resentments.

Well I've heard that he is a history professor, but the way he pumps the site for information on where people stand politically, he may work for the NSA or the FBI.

I think Trotski works for the industrial complex that produces gear and clothing and which secretly owns all the world's ski resorts. He is personally responsible for a 6% increase in offseason bookings, a 2% rise in sales of tire chains and the development/marketing of ski/binding "systems". He is a genius. A mad genius of course, but a genius nonetheless. Something must be done.

How about over 80%? Doesn't seem to be an option. I like his polls better than the endless jokes posted by someone over in the Humor section.

Flawed, I find his polls entertaining and they did get us through the summer
