If you want to add an easy 35HP to that car get a Cobb Accessport http://cobbtuning.com/products/?id=2436
it did wonders for my car. No more turbo lag!
I live in Berthoud, Colorado, commute 35 miles round trip to my job in Louisville every weekday...except, of course, for Thursdays and Fridays, where I go up to Eldora to train, then
to Louisville, then back to Berthoud...in the spring, summer, and fall, I go into Boulder at lunch to play tennis or ride my bike...on the winter weekends, up to Eldora and back every day or up I-70 on the weekends for races...in the summer, tennis tournaments in Denver, road bike rides all over Colorado, such as but not limited to Elephant Rock in Colorado Springs...well, you get the picture.
Anything is going to struggle for air in the Rockies, but Turbo seems to make a huge
difference and definitely gulps in the thin air. As in, tomorrow a. m., I get to drive to Loveland, and at the first haul up the long hill on I-70 at the Morrison formation, a turbo is almost required to get by all the mini-vans, trucks, etc....plus, I had a 2000 Subie that was a non-turbo, and I had to put the pedal to the metal to get up the hills, which I think was worse for gas mileage...if I'm cruising up and down I-25, which is basically level, there's a cool little guage they added that shows how fuel efficient (or not) you're currently driving, and it's always way in the plus column. Right now, I have 245 hp, and that seems like plenty, I really don't feel much turbo lag, so I don't think I'll mess with any after market mods, which might void the warranty...
