Nice! Jet Blue gets in by like 6 AM, so you can even make first chair!

I'm so doing this when I come out to academy!

LOL! I think I should start an Epicski travel deal column.
But X-dog, be careful, hon! I read your post about altitude sickness in the resort forum.

Keep in mind airplanes are pressurized to an equivalent of 8,000 ft., I believe. So you're already getting acclimatized on the flight in

Yes, I have suffered the effects during about half my trips to places over 10,000 or so. But I also suffer from another, more serious malady, FIRST CHAIR FEVER! That along with a nagging case of stubborness creates a very serious situation.

Sorry to be a buzzkill, but Jetblue gets into JFK at 6 am (red-eye)... it arrives at SLC at 12:40 am. Not the greatest scheduling. I'm sticking with Delta.

This is a bad idea. When I patrolled at one of the PC area resorts, we responded to altitude sickness caused by two things: People drinking way too much alcohol the first night they got into town and then heading up to 10,000 feet first thing in the morning, or people arriving in town that morning, skiing that afternoon. I am sure the patrols at these resorts are pleased as punch with this promotion.

Probably another important point to remember regarding the altitude sickness issue is that the base elevation of the Park City Resorts is under 7000 ft, and only the uppermost reaches of the peaks reach 10,000 ft. It's still high up, but most resorts in Colo. start at 8000 plus...
The quick START is not a bad promo, I believe it's even valid for 'night' skiing at PCMR.
