Sources for discounted lift tickets Tahoe

I got a Tahoe Six Pack; also have a Tahoe card from Snowbomb. I don't have a season pass to a resort but do have a ski bus season pass (about 7-8 different large Tahoe resorts) which is discounted. Just checking with the various authorities out there to see if there are any other sources for discounted tickets for Tahoe that I haven't stumbled on (will have Warren Miller give aways for Heavenly also).

Rei members can get discounts, Safeway ususally sells Heavenly tics discounted, SAT sells 3 or 4 paks at discounts, There was a web site posted last year that sells discounted tickets in advance, can't find it right now.

The six packs are sold out... I should kick myself.

Can anyone explain what is a "ski bus season ticket" and how to get it? Thanks.

Almost all ski shops sells discount tickets for one or many resorts. There is a two-fer coupond booklet I bougt from a local ski shop last season for Kirkwood which saves a little bit.

BAC Discount Lift Tickets

Are you aware of the discount lift ticket program offered by the nonprofit BAC (Bay Area Snow Sports Council) and its 31 snow sports clubs in the Bay Area? Go to www.skibac.org & select Discount Lift Tickets. The discounts usually run 15-30% off and if you don't use all of the tickets they are returnable at the end of the season for credit towards next year's order in most cases.

The only key to this particular program is that you have to order through a club now as the annual BAC Discount Lift Ticket order deadline is the first Monday in November 11/5 and the clubs often set earlier deadlines.

There are three different ski bus operations going to Tahoe from the Bay Area that I know of: two have been mentioned...Bayareaskibus.com and NACski.com and the other one is ridelaketahoe.com.

I didn't know about skibac.org...although I saw your post earlier, SkierScott, but it sounds like you need to belong to a club NOW in order to order the tickets....oh well, possibly more info for next year....

Thanks for the info provided!!!!!!!!!

Actually, it's Albertsons. However, now that all the Albertsons have been purchased by SaveMart, I don't know if they still do it.

http://www.skiheavenly.com/tickets_r...ft_tickets.php (FYI, link says it was valid through April 2007)

Oh, and the Albertsons in Lake Tahoe does NOT participate in this program.
