A question that has been asked for a long time is "Who are the most diehard, fanatical skiers? I think that the first thing that comes to mind is Colorado skiers. But I disagree. I think that Midwestern skiers are the most addicted, diehard, fanatical skiers out there. For instance, we don't have true mountains. We have either a) piles of dirt b) natural hills less than 600 feet tall or c) garbage dumps tuened into ski hills. We also don't have the natural snowfall of Colorado. A midwestern blizzard is maybe 5-8 inches in 24 hours. Basically, we get the most out of the least. We ski when it's 50, we ski when it's 20 below. WE ARE ADDICTED!! WE ARE THE MOST ADDICTED SKIERS IN THE US!! if you have any complaints (especially you CO people), feel free to respond.
