WTB: Skis suitable for a beginner

Thread Starter
After taking a 15yr break, getting back into skiing and looking for something affordable to learn on.
Don't want to rent as I intend on skiing a lot this season due to a lot of free time

I am 5 10 about 175lbs, living in CO

Going to buy some boots this week, so not going to have enough cash left over for some expensive skis

Let me know if you have something that might work for me.

Thanks
Darren

I have some 02 Volkl Vertigo G1s, 178 with tyrolia bindings on them. Was a demo ski in its former life. I learned on it for two years and have since expanded my quiver. I'd be willing to let them go for somewhere between $80-$100 plus shipping.

I think there are some good choices on this list.
