Hey Coach, we'll probably get up and ski for that holiday. Don't think we're going to make plans to go out of town, so I'm shooting to ski on Thanksgiving at least.

It'll be cool to finally ski with you although the lunch with the gimp(Ric) a couple of years ago was a good time.

Great Mike. It will be great to catch up with you again. Do you still have my cell number?

Hi Coach,

I should be in Summit Co for some of that time frame. I'll probably depart on the 21st to make it home for the holiday dinner. It would be great to finally hook up!

Wow Coach ,26 short days away and you'll be skiing at Vail. That's great. I'm expecting by that time frame here we might see a heavy frost!
Have a blast.

You're probably right, but let's hope our Mid Atlantic winter isn't all that far behind.

Heck--do any of CO's Vail owned resorts have snow? By the looks of the web cams, it's pretty lean in terms of white stuff.

We are going to need several big storms to get more than a run or two of man made open by Thanksgiving. 90-day weather model is showing more of the same...hi temps, dry and the jet stream is way north.

We may get some just before Thanksgiving:

We need a lot more than just "some" we need several feet of snow to get anything beyond blues open.

Well, change of plans for us again. Guess I'll be heading up to visit the in-laws for the holiday, so we'll have to miss you this time Coach. I really hope that you have a decent time given the lack of snow and cold weather. Hopefully tomorrow/Wednesday will bring some for you.

Maybe we'll catch up in the spring...

Did you at least go to A-Basin or Loveland and ski?

Yep--We skied Loveland 3 days, A-Basin 2 days, and Copper 1 day.

It wasn't a great trip by our usual CO standards, but we made the best of it and we had a good time. It was great to get back on skis and a good start to our season.

Regardless, you had better conditions and vert than we had here! We should try to make turns this year.
Call me if you're heading 7S way.
