Thanks for the links..
I looked up Monster 88, and got almost nothing, but failed to lookup mythic.
Is 750.00 a decent price? for the monsters with railflex

Yes, but if 2006/7, 175 cm works for you, this is a way better deal:

Or check with Dawgcatching for deal on left over '07 (shorter and longer):

I've skied only one of those, and that is the 88 Monster. This is an amazing ski. I ski mostly VT and so I hit all kinds of conditions; ice, groomed, crud and yes, even powder too. This ski is amazing in that it handles all of it well. Obviously, a powder only ski would be wider (at least by today's current standards), but for a mid fat the ski does real well in the deep stuff, with a nice even flex and decent float. It also skis crud and choppy conditions very well as it has a lot of strength and power to it, and doesn't get tossed around much. But the most surprising thing is that it holds an edge real well on all but the most frozen of conditions. I can really crank on the groomed with these and lay way over with big and medium turns and it stays right on edge. Obviously, it's width and strength mean it's not the best in the bumps, but I can even do that as long as they're not the big rutted variety.

At 5'10" and 155, I ski the 176 length. It is, my favorite all around ski.
