Do we have meeting spot for the KW day?

Ski racks by chairs 5 and 6?
Sounds like a winner. Warmup laps on 5 or 6 if anyone is late will put you in the right place. I'm afraid conditions are not going to be very good off-piste. The mountain got cooked, and its gotten cold.

I got connected for 2 VIP passes for Wade and Eski. I will pick them up in the morning.

Yo,

Thanks for the tickets, Cirque (so you will pick them up and we'll just get them from you?). Should we meet outside the lodge at 9:00, ski racks for Chair 5 & 6? I assume that's right outside the lodge?

Should be fun!

ESki,

Chair 5 & 6 makes more sense. If you get in before 8:30, you should be parking pretty close to chair 5 and 6.

The Red cliffs lodge is kind of out of the way. (I know b/c that's where the day care is. )

Sweet, see you there.

is Squaw still the plan for 4/11?
Hmm, looks like I'm in the market for a cheap squaw ticket. (Where cheap < the ~$50 that is available on resort trade).

In other news, I passed my L1 Alpine today. Yay.

CONGRATS! i saw you there with your "game face" on... i didn't see you out on the hill aside from getting on/off chairs. looked like a decent sized group.

i had my L2 Telemark prep today (and also tomorrow). good news is that i would have passed the skiing portion "with flying colors" today... had it been for real. now i just have to repeat that performance in a few weeks at Mammoth. fun, fun, fun!

Chili -- I heard they were going to pass you... until they saw you in the mohawk and neon fartbag. (I was never so disappointed not to have a camera with me.)

congrats!

Hey, Adam, nice job! Congrats on L1 cert!

So, for Friday, 4/11, let's do Squaw. How about we meet 10 at Wildflour Baking Co. in the Olympic Village by the Mama Barkley's Rest. Then ski all together with Wade and me until about 2ish. Should be good skiing! It's been pretty consistent in a cold, spring pattern for the last week or so. Forecast looks much the same with some lingering snow showers.

Ciao,
E

Mrs StormDay will be joining us on Friday.

We be skiing Alpine on Sat and Sun also.
Well done, Adam!

I'd like to think that you passed it purely because of the help I was last year at ESA Tahoe, and nothing to do with your own hard work, and help from good coaches.
Next time we meet, I'll buy you a beer to celebrate!

Well WTFH, I must say that boot cam WAS an inspiration!

I plan to be there. Have my ticket. Need to find the wildflour, but how hard can it be?

I managed to bring my camera and charger up, but not the cable for it so I'll get the pictures up early next week when I am back in the bay.

As usual had a fantastic time. The change of scenery was great, especially since we had two very knowledgeable guides. Thanks for the great fun on snow this year everyone. And thanks to Wade and Eric for all of the help on our skiing. I for one feel that you guys helped me to make a lot of really nice improvements to my skiing.

Really fun year for sure. Glad we all skied together. Last Friday was a lot of fun, great sping snow! Holiday was exhibiting a somwhat loose interpretation of "winter" snow! Well, I guess in the strictest sense there was some winter snow, it just happened to be enjoying it's shallow existance on top of firm, frozen spring snow!

Anyway, as I think back to our last day, I am looking out the window of our vacation house here on Kauai looking north over hanalei bay. Puff the maigc dragon lives by the sea, we are just visiting! Went surfing and took my frst lesson of any sort in a lomg time! I got up on the board and enjoyed a few moments and then took many good headers. Good fun, I can understand the addiction, it's kind of like sking.

Aloha-
E
