Where'd you score the Duke's in the UP? Spring pre-order thru Downwind?
I do race at Marquette Mountain, but I usually get a couple of trips out west each year too. Last season, I skied at Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Keystone, Snowmass, The Canyons and Snowbird. With that list, I definitely hit all snow conditions, speeds and terrain. No issues.
I seriously feel fortunate that I don't have the problems others have. I really can't explain it. But I do feel obligated to defend them at least a little bit because of this. When people say that marker just flat out makes an inferior product, I really don't agree. Everyone has their preferences, and I really don't have any problem with any bindings. They all seem to do the job.
To answer your Duke question, Jer, I'm a mountain rep for Blizzard/Tecnica. Before that, I skied for 20 years on Volkl. (hence the vast experience with Markers)
