Whats it say on the back of your Ski School jacket?

At our club we have a small school thats in combination with our jr coaching department. We have several instructors that also coach. I would like for us to have the same jackets but problem is what to write on the back. We can use english language. Something like "Ski School & Racing Team". What do you guys have on your jackets and how have you solved this problem.

"Ask me why you suck" might generate some conversation! (Just kidding)

Ours simply say "Sno Pro" on the back. Me and my staff thought that was a lot less sterile than "Instructor" or "Coach" or "Race Team". My area doesn't have a race team, so we have sole ownership of the jacket. However, if it were me, I wouldn't think the statement on the back necessarily has to label exactly what the person wearing it is doing. Do something fun! If there are 40 jackets on the hill that say "sno pro" on the back, and onother 30 on the hill that say "gate-raper"...:it won't take the general populace long to figure out what it's about.

Spag

PS. The phrase "gate-raper" is trademarked by Spag and is not to be used without the expressed written consent of Spag... Ok I'm bored.:

Instructor's jackets in my neck of the woods don't say anything on the back.

Hmm - I always thought we had targets painted on our backs!

I'll second that.

Ours say Poodle Kennel. No, ours say nothing anywhere, but we do have little clear plastic covered pocket on the right breast that we insert our name tags into. They like to sell them every 3-4 years to smaller hills, so no permanent logos or stitching on them. Really not a bad way to go.

Stay back at least 500 feet (if you can even get that close!)

I am glad it no longer says "Perfect Turn".

I've had a couple dozen different ski school jackets over the years, none of which had anything embroidered on the back. Every place I've worked has used some form of instructor pin we wear on the front. The jackets just all look alike and usually are of a color/pattern you wouldn't normally find on the rack in a store. But if I had to pick a logo, it would be the resort's logo with maybe "snowsports academy" surrounding it.

Lots of great ides here, and some funny too... thank you boyz. Anybody work at a ski school with wests with logos insted of jackets with logos? Keep things a bit cheaper and everyone could wear older or newer jackets or even their own if the colours were close to the same.

tdk6,

My mountain has the same uniform for race coaches, children's learning center, snowboard instructors ski instructors, and supervisors. It says "Windham Mountain Snow Sports School". BTW, it doubles as a target or bowling pin. It does help younger children in classes have something visible to follow or look for (in some casses, hide from).

We are using our jackets for this year and getting new ones next . One dilemma is having to remove the logo when we resell them. By not having one it solves that problem. I'm going to suggest this.

Does this mean your recognition is by the well known pattern of the coat and your identity pin ?
When so many have the same coat and are constantly visible a logo stitched in doesn't really gain much and could easily be omitted.

From last year. Not a great shot (croped it). I think we're getting new coats this year, the color should be new, but the snowflake wont change.

Same logo as always but we changed from all red to black with just a touch of white and gray trim. We used to really stand out but now we really blend in. Heck, we even have a tough time spotting each other on the hill. Supervisors, patrol, etc. probably would prefer something that stood out better but we are happy.
