Pick my car! - Page 2

Volvo just rolled out a new XC 70 that looks great in the pics. Haven't seen one in person yet, though. That should be a great ski car that's leasable for less than $700 w/o massive $$$ down.

That's a possibility, good idea. I am a bit leary of the dependability. Any thoughts on that?

I spent six hours around Labor Day a couple years back sitting in some godforsaken town for a 2004 V70XC that decided that it didn't like its alternator pulley and spit it up. My buddy's car, it broke so much he sold it for a VW van of all things.

Then there was the S80T6 we used to have...very nice sounding car, spent a lot of time in the dealership.

My personal opinion is that they are overpriced crap, but I don't care enough to pay attention to more objective stuff like CR to see how reliable they are compared to other euro-crap.

I love my '07 XC70! From what I hear, the '08 is a nice improvement.

Hey the IS250 AWD is my ride -- but mine was assembled in Japan.

Great car best bang for your buck if you like creature comforts... imho it has the best nav system out there! After trying many cars, I do believe the Audi A3, A4, A6 are the best in AWD - 50/50 mechanical setup, fun to drive.

The Lexus just appealed to me.

I have a V50 that has had only minor stuff at 30K. Both fixed within one hour at dealer.

test drove a 535Xi wagon today, If I can swing it, its an incredible machine. Very impressive handling, accelleration and technology. Great dash layout and I like the I-drive. Good balance bewtween my X5 and sedan. Still raised seating but much more refined drive and handling. 300 hp twin turbo is sweeet. Mileage should be in the low 20's overall. Getting 17.5 now so this is a bonus. BMW doesn't offer any standard incentives to re-lease so I am hoping they run some kind special incentive this winter. Lower Money factor so this helps.

That's what I'm talking about!
