Cool. But $45 lift ticket for a single trail seems kind of steep :

Uhhh...they'd better start blowing some snow in a hurry. Looks like you'll need to break out some SERIOUS rock skis. YIKES!

Wrong chair--the snow is over on Exhibition. See: http://www.arapahoebasin.com/?page=s...9e8e4c0d4cf440

BTW, they've posted the updated trail maps w/ Montezuma Bowl.

well, its white and frozen and you can ski on it. I think that's a heck of a lot better than 72 degrees on October 10th here in NJ. Bring on the trip reviews....

Um, that is Exhibition. There is actually a fair amount of snow just out of view of this photo.

Yeah, my bad. I got confused because I assumed they'd made snow to the lift. Apparently they did that last night. Ran up in the morning for a couple of runs. The crowds were crazy, and the man-made snow was icy, but I didn't see any rocks (on the ski trail anyway...)

Word of high temperatures for our New England colleagues is a concern. I'm wishing for a better season for them this year.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we've actually seen some snow at several of our ski resorts. The pictures linked below are taken at Crystal Mt., where they are trying to finish up on construction of a new chairlift.

YES!!!!! I'm going to be in Denver/Boulder for 2 whole weeks starting on Saturday....I'm freaking pumped. I really wanted to get some turns in before I spent the next year in Central America. Now I just need my commander to give me a day or two off in the week.

Best. News. Ever.
