Steep and Deep Holiday place available

For several years I have been arranging steep and deep off-piste holidays in the Alps with a guide for a group of friends. As the group expanded this grew from one holiday to 2 and this year to 3. A month ago I thought these holidays were all fixed but someone has had to withdraw and meanwhile those who had asked to be on the reserve list have committed to other things.

Consequently I am left with a place to fill and wondered if anyone out there who skis at a similar standard might be interested. (I just put this on Snowheads too)

For British skiers: we ski at Ski-Club-of-GB Gold standard, which means we like to ski fast and can ski breakable crust fairly fluently and are happy on a 45º slope. This particular group is aged late 40s to 60, but the wider group also includes people in their 30s.

The holiday was originally the most popular and is with our favourite guide: Zeb Roche . It is based in Montgenevre, the only French town of the Italian Milky Way ski area which also includes Sestriere. We will ski there and, since Zeb has a minibus, probably other nearby resorts such as Serre Chevalier (and perhaps even La Grave, but that is further off). Although we normally ski places like St Anton, Verbier and Chamonix we asked Zeb for a region he knew which wasn't so well known for off piste and so wouldn't get skied out too quickly, and he suggested Montgenevre as a base. It isn't an area any of us has skied before (except me for one day).

We fly out early on Friday 18th January from London and ski 2 1/2 days on our own, then 6 days with Zeb, returning late on Saturday 26th after skiing(ie total of 8 1/2 days skiing). Total from London about £830-850 all in, excluding lunches and drinks.

Zeb is an inspirational and exciting guide rather like Phillipe Andre and Remy Lecluse. He also teaches paragliding (he used to be in the French team and his wife was twice word champion: he spent his honeymoon climbing Everest with his wife and they then paraglided off the top). His own home area is the Haute Maurienne but he knows several other areas well (he has also guided us in Verbier - where he has lived - and the Dolomites) . Here is a witty account with good photos, by Cedric (Horizon on TGR) of our Dolomites holiday with Zeb. TR Dolomites 17-25 March

I haven't been on Epic much for a while, but greetings to Comprex and others who I used to know on here!
