Well now, here's subject I can sink my teeth into

Closest is Park City Municipal. a bit target golf and very tough greens to read

We have several Country Clubs in the area but if you don't have cooperating Club to float its hard to get on and expensive. They are Jeremy GC, Meadows Park, Glen Wild, Promontory and Tuyahe, all exceptional if you can get on.

6's for distance to Mountain Dell and Wasatch Mountain (both 36 two course affairs, both have significantly different tracks)

If you like walking, Mountain Dell Lakes (ridiculous from the blacks), though its a big walk, and my favorite track of all Wasatch Mountain Lakes Course (long from the tips). On MD Lakes, bring a lot of balls Wasatch Lakes the premium is on driving distance and good scrambling.

Also in Heber and Midway is the Homestead (Pricey) and 36 holes at Soldier Hollow.

Right at the base of Parleys is Bonneville, GREAT COURSE! And then right at your 45 minute range, Old Mill (not one of my favorites, but interesting nonetheless).

Hope this helps! If you need a 3 and 4 Dr. Liz and I love to play, if we're in town

Gary, come about end of March/April I suspect I'll be using this forum to get in contact with you ... I'll be feeling a golf thing by then. Played the PC Muni a couple of times at the end of last ski season and didn't mind it ... may try to get my own clubs this season though!

We look forward to it. I've just returned to the game after a year off thanks to a call from TheRusty this last April. Since then (a horrid day at WingPointe reminding me why I quit) I've got the rust off my game since, a new R7 Quad 460 properly shafted and back into the low 80's high 70's (actually, based on the natural laws of golf I'm cursed, shot my low score of 76 two weeks ago then found out I had pneumonia, haven't been able to get back out, could be lucky as we all know what follows a low round, just ask Zach Johnson Okay, a 68 after a 60 isn't that bad. Bad example ). I feel a 90 plus coming on real soon

Anyway, loving golf again and scratch is once again an insane child's dream :

Golf question; Does Tiger Woods have a navel? Has his DNA been checked.

Tennis Question; Does Rodger Federer and Tiger Woods come from the same planet - is it the start of a bigger invasion

Fish on

Got the "rust" off, huh?
I suppose that was my fault too? Now I'm "staining" other people reputations.

High 70's huh? Now I'm afraid to look you up next April.

Well really mid 70's Hey man, had you not called, I would not have gone back to the game this summer. Thank you, I've played 30 rounds and pratcied probably 30 days since you woke me up. I owe you buddy.

Next April, let's do it!!

Thanks again TR!!!

I'm happyish today - at the end of what was looking like an utterly dreadful round (seven doubles!) I finished 3 (par), 3 (par), 3 (birdie), 3 (birdie) to rescue a net two-over.

It's my club's autumn meeting - two day comp - so pretty important. And I absolutely nailed my last two drives - hit the green on the par 4 17th (261yds uphill) and left myself 40yds to the green on the 18th (336yd par 4).

Golf will do that to you. Beats you up and then hands you a beer and says "come back sometime!"
