Just so you know.............At 11;34 AM you said you were not looking at a twin tip. At 11:55 AM, you apparently changed your mind and decided to get a twin tip (Gotama).
I own the Gotama and think it is a great ski for deep snow. I have also put in about 5 full days on the Bridge and think that for most conditions, it is a better ski. The Gotama will for sure be better when the snow is deep....no doubt about that. When the snow is not deep....the Bridge will be quicker, more manuverable in tight spots like choke points and bumped out chutes, and it will rail better on soft groomers. (it is stiffer torsionally and has a deeper sidecut)
Again....the Goat is a great ski for deep snow but not what I would choose as a one ski quiver even for Ut. The Bridge would probably be better 70%-80% of the time.
