No sure how many people are in these parts, (Pousanne, Atomicman????).

Anyone want to get together for a drink in the next week or so? I can do Seattle or Portland...

Cheers

Seattle's a bit of a drive for me for only a drink. Did you have anything specific in mind? There's Spindrift, Cloudspeak, and a number of others in the area (my mind is blank at the moment). If we could schedule a get-together it could be a good thing.

I'm open, let's just get together...I really do not care where, I would just like to meet some others on this board!

Spindrift, Cloudspeak, Atomicman...how about it?

Cheers

I'm not headed to Seattle anytime soon, but if you come to Bellingham I'll spot you a pint at Boundary Bay or Archers.

Let me know the particulars and I'll see if I can make it.

Unfortunately Hood has closed early or that would be a fun option.

I've been thinking about sponsoring a NW Bears get-together at my cabin near Stevens Pass later in the ski season, but this might be a good time for a "planning session." I'm really booked this month and next so if someone wants to set a date and a place I will see if I can get clear to be there.

I've love to meet some local Epic folks. Just lemme know.

Seattle or Bellingham? - end of week or midweek?

Seems like most of the interest is from up North, how about a meeting mid-October? Tuesday nights are best for myself, but I could also do a Saturday evening I suspect....
I would be interested.
I too would be interested in meeting in Bellingham, pretty much available any time it is planned. And Pousaune, I might be interested in your Stevens Pass cabin invitation, not certain if it was for skiing or planning on skiing but keep me in mind if you will.

What about a Saturday in Everett or Mt. Vernon? They've both got brewpubs that serve tasty treats and they're somewhere in the middle of the northern Sound region so that more might be able to attend. Tuesdays are out for me.

About my cabin idea, I was thinking of a weekend in March (date yet to be determined) where we could meet up and ski at Stevens and then retreat to my (very rustic but comfortable) cabin for a potluck style dinner. If some wanted to stay the night I would be happy to accomodate that too.

I'm all in for both ideas. Coming from Bellingham, Everett sounds better for me than Seattle.
Regarding the cabin idea, again coming from Bellingham, ideally - drive to Stevens early in morning and ski first day, stay the night, ski second day and then drive home sounds very appealing to me. Two consecutive days at Stevens sounds mighty good right now.

Everett or M.V. would be great for me as I'm Edmonds based...On a Saturday I would arrive around 8:30 or 9PM as I am a member of the prolateriat these days!:

Stevens Pass sounds like fun, it's been 10 years or so since I've skied there!

The mid Oct Sat sounds good, count me in. Also Everett or M.V.as I am in the North Seattle area. How about a Crystal trip as soon as the new chair opens?
I would probably go for Everett? An hour each way to MV might be alittle much.

Mid October would probably work. sounds like fun to meet everyone!

Does Everett have anywhere decent to grab a pop????

How about the Scuttlebut brew pub for the venue? Check it out: http://www.scuttlebuttbrewing.com/

Hey, Atomicman, it'll be an hour each way for us Bellinghamsters when it's in Everett so someone's going to have to bite that bullet, but that's OK by me. I suppose it's an easier drive than from Bellevue.

Scuttlebutt closes at 9PM?????

Could this be true?
9 PM?!! I didn't catch that one. OK, how about the Diamond Knot Brewery and Alehouse in Mukilteo? Open until 1:00 AM weekdays and 2:00 AM weekends?

Mukilteo...

Sounds great to me...I'm Dreadmonds based so this is real close (though I driving up from Portland that day:...).

How 'bout it Ladies and Gentleman?

I don't remember settling on a day. flaviaman mentioned the 13th and the 20th of October.

How about October 20?

I can't make it on the 13th. The 20th would be perfect for me since I'll be in the area on my way home from Fife.

What time? I'm an early bird myself so I would like to meet for dinner at 6 or 6:30, but I can be flexible. We can keep it going as long as we want.
I could make it on the 20th also.

Like Pousaune, I am an early bird, so 6 or 6:30 sounds great to me, and we'll have to see how long I can keep these ol' - man droopy eyes open knowing I am driving back. It's all good!
