These are 05-06 Blizzard SL Race Stock 165 cm. skis. New, never skied. Need to find a home for them. If someone needs a hard snow/race ski, these are a great deal. Skipress had a good review. "Ski for an aggressive male". $180.00 plus shipping.

flat or bindings included and what kind of binding will they accept?

Are you sure it's 05-06?

I have the 05-06 SL Race Stock and it's Magnisium SL, not Ti, and it comes with plate that accepts Marker Comp or Blizzard specific bindings. Although the plate may accept some Salomon Equip series bindings.

Might be an 04-05 then? I will check on the bindings.

Blue, white and silver with the elastomer plate? I've loved my to death, the replacement Mg ones from last year are better but it might be the integrated bindings or mine are now wore out.

They have a plate that is undrilled. Who wants them??

Phil,
When a date is decided for Phil's Philly Phall Phest @ Phjon Pharvards in Phwyane, maybe we can do a deal. I bought Evans Shapes last time and am thinking getting an SL.

Correction, these are SL Magnesium, not the lower Titanium. They are the same ski as this years but not the red/black, but Blue/Silver. They have a universal plate so will accept any binding. They are new and in their wrapper. $220.00

To the best of my knowledge the last few years have had the IQ interface. This is the 06 model I have now. Yours are the Magnesium version between this and the Ti that I have from 03/04. The Ti version is the older one and they changed the layup to magnesium the following year, not necessarily a lower model although the Ti was softer through the ski than the Mg.

And the 2007

These are not ID setup. These are the WC skis with the plates. They are above the Titaniums and have the stronger sidewalls also.

The 2006 picture is the IQ interface, but your right I picked some bad links to show the IQ interface. The 2007 and 2008 links are to the World cup version rather than the race carvers. I was just trying to show the graphics differences in the links for clarity. Buy Phil's Skis

LOL, you better buy now before the price goes up then . Actually the $180.00 price was when I thought they were Ti and not the (better and more expensive) Mag.

With all due respect, Phil, you are the self professed gear guru here.

You should know what it is you are posting.

I think it is pretty low to increase the price once the 'ink is dry' so to speak.

If anyone else did that you'd be all over them---and very likely pull the thread---am I right??

IMHO---rectraction of the sale would have been the better choice.

so these will accept any binding then?

It actually is a different ski J. I was dealing with the information given me before I even saw the skis. Besides I never proclaimed to be a guru, maybe a geek, not a guru. If someone wants some Ti SL for 180, there might be some around, I can check..but these are MAG SL's.

There has been times that people have contacted me about a listing and asked me to change or correct it. Could I have taken the 180 out of the first post? Could I have deleted the thread, sure that was an option too. Absolutely..I am in favor of full disclosure.

This seems like a pretty aggressive post for a judgement call that could have been interpreted numerous ways..if there is something that you would like to discuss in private, please PM me.

Either way it is a moot point..they are sold.

It doesn't seem like the buyer took issue with it. Either way you look at it, someone just got a $900 ski for around $200...
