Lets see now, yep it all still fits......

I went a step further than just trying out my boots and typing on the computer with them on, I put on all my gear (the new stuff). My GF took the photo and said I am crazy...perhaps, but I just cant wait till it snows. Tomorrow I will fire up the ol' hotbox and begin prepping.

BTW its 72* with 88% humidity here, makes it feel like 90* and sticky. I have my back armor and armored shorts on, but not much else underneath. Just got to put on some more muscle mass to replace what I lost during my recuperation and I am ready to go! The gear feels good and I cant wait......its gonna be a good one I can feel it.

Dude that helmet/goggle combo makes you look like Luke's father.

I have faith in you, and am willing to believe that your motivation to post pictures of yourself in a skin tight race suit on the internet (in September) comes from something other than a desperate need for attention.

Count your blessings that your GF is still with you after seeing you in that stuff!!

This would be a good post for TGR. They would probably have some interesting insights.

There is no doubt in my mind, you look better in that, than I ever could.

Wearing an outfit with the tags on rules!

You should have lit the Tiki torches, and thanks for sharing the stoke.

He's just sharing his personal stoke with us. Different stoke for different folks.
It reminds me of kids after Christmas putting on something like this just out of the excitement of getting it and someday being able to use it.
Just another big kid. Enjoy.

Lets see..thats a baited question. While I dont mind attention (thats obvious) I just wanted to share my enthusiasm. In case you didnt know my last season was cut very short due to some major injuries, so I felt cheated (by my own devices admittedly). I just cant wait to get back on the snow....ya know what I mean? Putting that stuff on made me feel that much closer to the season's coming.

GarryZ hit the nail on the head....I am a big kid and I did get the same feeling putting on my new gear (with tags still attached) as I did when I was a little kid on Christmas morning.

Hey I remember when I got my first Redline BMX bike I could not get myself to go to bed I was so excited, so I got in bed grabbed the bike and held it above me and practiced my "jumps" on my back with the bike in the air above me almost knocked my teeth out when it slipped...but you get the idea, I love the activity, but I love the gear just as much.

Cheers!

How about this one with the mirrored lense, I like the Vader/fighter pilot look.

Nice. Mirrored lenses do make for some cool pics.

Now that's funny. Only because you didn't hurt yourself. Enthusiasm is a great thing when channeled properly. Have a great year with your new stuff.

I'm thinking it could be a sexual thing.

Please don't reveal what is under all that "stuff."

Good call, no I dont but was going to get involved in it last season then bang boom splat. Then I read that one of the best skiercrossers in the world suffered the same injuries I had last season but instead of one vertebrae he busted three!! So I am reconsidering my involvment at this juncture.

I do recreational racing, this season probably some USSA masters, hence the new gear.

I like the protection of a full face, that way I dont end up having a situation like you did on the mtn bike :

I got full face at the end of last year, after breaking some branches of with my face the quote from mike wilson is the best "I am surprised how much confidence a helmet and a mouth guard give me, thats the last thing I need"

its still looks rad and I got it for free just not sure how much I am going to like the chin guard.
