I checked the web site for Hidden Valley (NJ) not too long ago and it looks like they will be open this season or will try to open. They have season passes for sale.

Although I'm a 7 Springs guy, it is nice to see something happening over there. I will say Hidden Valley is more family and beginner friendly. Smaller crowds, gentler slopes. Maybe this will lessen the crowds at 7 Springs. Hopefully the new high speed 6-pack on gunnar will also help the crowds. Wish Laurel Mtn would re-open. Maybe the Nuttings (7 Springs owners) will develop develop the fabled "outback bowl" area someday.

Hey Jay, welcome to epic. I know what you mean about Laurel. We're working on it.

As for Hidden Valley, yes they'll open this season and their future looks bright. If there are any improvements planned they'll announce this October.

skier_j, what you doing reading my home town paper?
