Preseason bootfitting. Phil at SkiStop vs. GMOL

Does anyone have knowledge/experience about/with Phil at the SkiStop in Westwood, MA for bootfitting?

I've used GMOL both at Stratton and at Vail with Greg Hoffman.

SkiStop is more convenient and also a MasterFit place.

Any opinions? I'd be buying and having fit new boots. Possibly using GMOL footbeds, possibly new ones.

Yes, He does a great job very knowledgeable. I know they have spent time with the Master fit which is Greg Hoffman. So if he is closer I would at least talk to him. He also uses the SBS. so he has balance of both technologies

Great experience this morning at SkiStop with Phil. Spent 2 hours choosing boots and getting new orthotics. Will go back in a couple of weeks for the stance and canting work.

Phil knows his stuff and I ended up with a pair of Head S9 boots, which were the only ones that gave me a wide and subtle range of flex. My Rivals and the other boots I tried gave too much of a lever from the cuff feeling, rather then pressure coming from lower down my ankle too. They are definitely a softer flexing boot.
