AUCTION>>>ATTN: Supporters and members who are soon to be supporters...

We need articles/items for "The Epicski Auction". We need "stuff" that will draw at least $25-30.00 to cover the work. So if you have "ski stuff (and I use the term "stuff" loosely") and you want to donate instead of paying in your cash, I am all ears to listen! Fun is cool...gear is better...Epic memorabilia is tops!

I want to get the auctions up and running again for the fall, so feel free to PM me with what you got. If you still want to pay your dues and donate something too, all the better!

Ideas...

Ski videos (DVD, no VHS or BETA )
Gear. That old pair of Salomon 977E's that you aren't using.
Posters. Plake? Mahre? Lange girls???:

We need swag of value. Did you write a book (or spouse did) send us a signed copy.

Epic Sponsors..Waxes, Tools, Ect, we take them all.

You get the idea.

What is the difference between a Sponsor and a Supporter?

Sponsors are commercial entities that support the site at a higher level in terms of both participation as a member of the community and participation with their commercial interests. The idea is to create a win/win where those who make at least some portion of their living from skiing are part of the community and can offer their products and/or services to the community, while not using EpicSki simply as an advertising medium.

Sorry, but this is along the lines of no VHS or Beta . Now....If they are some cool retro skis, we can talk. :

This wouldn't be directed at me, would it? :

Donated: a signed copy of Finn, the terrific, stupendous, highly critically acclaimed (and thereby extremely auction-worthy) novel by my husband, Mr. Ski Diva himself, Jon Clinch.

Any chance of getting a signed audio book.
Then I could listen to it when I drive to Vermont to ski with you!

Sounds like a good reason to get an audio book.

Not sure if I should admit this, but I still have a very functional Sony BetaMax and use it fairly often. (That's not to say that I don't also have DirecTV, TIVO, CDRs etc., but hey--lay off the Betas. Everyone knows they were way better than VHS. There's no justice.

And 8-tracks were much higher fidelity than cassette tapes. The first car I ever bought with my own cash had a factory 8-track. What was really weird was my dad had an 8-track recording deck so I could record all my vinyl to the 8-track cassettes. I never realized how uncool I was.
