best bootfitter/ footbed maker in Snowmass

Key word is the 'best' - I am not bothered about the cost.

I am arriving in Snowmass on 01 Jan 08 and will have two pairs of boots to be fitted. Krypton Pro ID and Il Moros - they will be brand new.

I know what size I am (in Krypton Cross IDs now) and what punches/ grinds I need but will need new footbeds and the punches/ grinds done. I also only have a week in Snowmass so I have a few days to test them and do small mods if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Talk with mosh (here on Epic). The other person I'd recommend is Jim Lindsay (around here as Bootech,Inc.). (Both at Highlands; assuming that works.)

I work in Snowmass the cool thing is that I am located in Gwen's high alpine restaurant. So we can play with stuff and you can take it for a run and come back. If you are comming in we should set up a time early in the trip and get you straight asap. So you can play later in the week. Let me know if you need some help.

Do not forget Jack Rafferty in Snowmass. A no nonsense , understated, overqualified approach. He works out of Aspen Sports as a sub contractor and calls his deal Thotics Shops

Go see Mark Rolfes at Stefan Kaelins in Aspen, or call Bill Thistle in Aspen at
1 970 274 3338. They are the best and they make custom footbeds and cant the boot properly. Bill is a C Ped, andMark was on the US ski team, worked for Rossignol and Nordica in charge of the race program. Both are experienced with over thirty years each in the business.
