used equipment question

Thread Starter
I have some equipment that I haven't used in years. No one in my family who skis is in need of anything. I was thinking about trying to sell the skis (Salomon 8E) with bindings, boots, and poles.
My question for this forum: is it worth it? I know that skis depreciate in value quickly.
If anyone has any suggestions on how or where to sell used equipment, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time.

Most ski gear depreciates severly after 3 years unless its a ski that represented a new level of performance in some way.

Unfortunately, this ski is not going to bring much value. eBay and local ski swaps are your best bet, if you want to give it a go.

Well if you have no use for it and just want to get rid of the skis, ebay is the way to go. At the right price you'd be surprised at what people on ebay buy.

ebay

put on ebay, sell for nominal price, and you'll probably make more profit on the shipping.

Use the old gear to make furniture, chairs, coat racks, ski racks, etc............
you'll get more $$$ out of them at a craft show or yard sale.
