I'd do this to if the opportunity presented itsself. No ski has knocked my socks off like the Sanouk has since the Salomon Superforce 9 back in 92 or 93. One year I proformed two pair of Rossi 4m's, but that's just because I'd destroy a pair in two months.

I have two pair of K2 AK Enemys. This is one of those skis that K2 makes for only a couple of seasons, mismarkets and then drops. With two I probably own the whole production run. The first ski turned out to be a sweet powder/crud board so when I saw the other a couple of years later hiding in the back of a ski shop i snatched it up cheep. One pair are mounted flat and the other with a riser. The flatties get out on pure powder days and the risers on mixed bag days. Is there really a difference? Yes, but not much.

A few years ago, I had a pair of Olin Sierra'a. When Olin went out of business, they were all over E-bay for $100, I loved them so much, I wound up buying 6 pairs. I wore a pair out and still have 5 pairs mounted.
I remember when that happened. K2 decided phase out the Olin brand. People were spending more on their bindings than their skis.

And, Heluva... you got me beat, too. I have two pairs of GSRs but one pair of SLRs.

I didn't have a rock ski when I started last season.

I do now

I have matching pairs of three different sets of retro skis...faves would be the Kastle Speedmachine SLs because I just love the ski and the graphic.

I was always jealous of the kids with training pairs of skis, but it turns out that doing that can lead to all sorts of trouble that makes it perhaps not such a good idea.

Actually, the Huckster has a bigger twin than the FB, and is softer in the forebody.

In the early 90s I had three pairs of Elan SCXs, all different sizes. I still have them stored away, I just can't get rid of a great ski.

I kept a pair of Elan SCX Monoblock 163 from my old demo fleet. I find it to be a great teaching tool for my friends. Also it's a fun ski to mess around on.
