Open Your Heart with Skiing: Another EpicSki Book - Page 3

Steve,

I ordered my copy today and the expected delivery date is 9/19, so it's in stock and shipping. I plan to be in Denver in February for business and will definitely spend some time up on the hill on the weekends so will have to ply you with beer (or whatever you prefer) to get a signature.

bjohansson, it would be tremendous to meet up with you while you're in my neck of the woods. Be sure to drop me a PM or e-mail prior to your visit. We'll connect, for sure.

BTW, I just noticed that the Search Inside feature of Amazon is now available, so it you'd like to read a bit larger excerpt, you can do that there.

...and I keep wondering who will be first to review it...
No worries, whoever reviews it first, I'm sure there will be many reviews. I FINALLY(!!) received my copy. I know the title is applied to various activities...still a great title "Open Your Heart with Skiing". Had a chance to read parts of it......great concept. Congratulations on a great accomplishment!

How long did it take to get it? Did you get it from Amazon or elsewhere? I'm just learning how this distribution stuff works...

Order was placed on 8/24 and received 9/14. I ordered it from Amazon. Most orders are delivered within 10 days or so. Other orders to other sources made through Amazon are faster to deliver.

Thanks. That's a long time to wait. Hopefully, Amazon will get better about stocking it.

Hey Steve! Aren't you going to tell them about the Dreamtime Song Writing Contest

Got my copy today!

SSH,
I am about half way through the book but wanted to say...congratulations (based on some actual understanding of what you've written)...well done! It's different from anything I've ever read and does an amazing job of tieing skiing to life in general. Very well articulated and eye opening (I think you've made a lot of connections that people feel but you've actually articulated them very well!). Great book; would recommend it without hesitation!!

Thanks, mgmc... that was my hope and I'm really glad that it connected for you... Writing a book was a very interesting experience. I thought I had an idea that would connect with people, but you never really know until you give it a shot and people get the book and start reading it. Each of those steps is bigger than I realized. Perhaps the biggest is getting it into the hands of readers. I don't want to sound like a carnival hawker, but books are pretty cheap additions to life.

Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying it...

No reviews on Amazon, yet...

Steve, I have almost finished the book and really like it. Great job! For those on the fence, it truly is a unique book and very inspiring.

Congratulations on the book - may it sell and inspire.

SSH, you can rely on at least one great Amazon review (mine) but I'm positive there will be more. Books are cheap and potentially great additions to life. In the worst case, your book might have little impact on a reader but in the best case, it could be a life changer! That must be rewarding! The thing about your book is that it boils down aspects of technique but makes amazing connections to day to day living...no wonder you're a life coach!! It all fits..........I hope more people realize what the book has to offer; I am putting it on the Xmas present list for friends who ski!!!!

How cute, Steve! We're listed on Amazon as "better together." Ain't that sweet!
