5 Best Ski Movies of the last 25 years.

Thread Starter
In keeping with the current rash of 'best' threads, pick the movies from the last quarter century that you feel helped to push things forward...or just added some really good stoke. What made you want to drop everything and head to the hills?

Mine:
Ski Time- Warren Miller, hello Scot Schmidt
Maltese flamingo- Introduce yourself Mr. Stump
Blizzard of Aahhhs- No comment needed, except the BEST...ever
Harvest- Jeremy Nobis showing what World Class means
Clay Pigeons- just staight-up cool new school

There is no question but, Robert Redford in "Downhill Racer". (Only problem is that it falls outside of the 25 year window. 1969) .

Acknowledging SkiRacer55 in his/her mention of this movie in "US Coaching is Lacking?".

Waiting Game is up there for sure.

Maybe Ptex Lies and Duct Tape.

Echo or Stimulus.

High Society (even though the music was truly awful)

I dunno, Aspen Extreme.

The only ski vids that ever had any effect on me were:

Ptex, Lies and Duct Tape - Jungen skied fast!

Spinal Snap - humor parts were actually better than the skiing parts.

Harvest - Nobis skied really fast!!

The Spirit - Trevor Peterson ruled. Ptor and Troy are cool guys.

Some tape from the early 90's filmed at Roger's Pass - it had about 20 minutes of some guy skiing unbelievably deep powder in slow-motion. Anyone remember the name of that one??

Downhill Racer

Sound like Sinners by Bill Heath. Sometimes called Snow falling on Sinners.
Unfortunatly, no new copies are being made, so you'll have to hunt for a second hand copy.

Nah - wasn't Sinners. I've got a copy on VHS somewhere - just too lazy to dig it out. I always called it "Super Powder Freakout", but that wasn't the real name. The slow-mo powder sequence had some bad Doors rip off song accompanying it.
