I was checking out twin tips that would make good all mountain skis with a priority in the bumps, and I think I've narrowed it down to three. One would be the Line Chronic. I considered the blend, but I think it might be a little too wide in the tips to make a good bump ski. The other is the Stockli Snake T's. For their face value they are number one on my list. What pushed me toward these skis is Stockli's reputation for making quality skis. That and their reputation for making skis that are for lack of a better word lightning quick and a little stiffer. I'm not sure if this traditional approach was applied to the Snake's but essentially a stiffer TT that can handle speed, carve turns and rip up the bumps is what I'm looking for. That may be wishful thinking, but I can dream. For me park performance is not a high priority, but being able to take it in is. I've also heard great things about the Volkl Karma's, but again am a little concerned about their tip width in the bumps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated along with any other skis that I may have overlooked.
