No strings SKI subscription?

A co-worker turned me on to this. Doesn't look like there's any strings attached, so I signed up. A two year free subscription to SKI magazine...

I guess I should throw in a disclaimer that I don't work for SKI or have anything to do with that web site--just looked like a cool deal.

Cheers.

That's about my take. I used an excite email address that isn't my primary, just in case! So far, actually, no spam whatsover.

I've been reading SKIING and SKI Magazine free for almost 6 months now through free subscriptions (plus 12 other magazines I enjoy). I have never had a problem with spam from them.

Sounds like the major drawback of that offer is you might actually read an issue or two of Ski.

lol...

I think a regular subscription is only $9 anyways... although the jerks will sell your name and address. They screwed up my name on one of them and all of the sudden I started receiving junk mail with that exact spelling.

When I subscribe, or apply for free offers etc., I always misspell my name by ONE letter, or use an odd middle initial... then I know who passed on my name.

For example, Smith becomes Smyth, or Smithe or Smithers;
or John Smith becomes John S. Mith, John S. Myth, etc....
Since computers copy the names exactly from list to list, the trick spelling will outlast our names on our gravestones...

Smithers, who is that man? Why that's Homer Simpson, sir. What's better than a 2 year subscription to Ski? Maybe a 1 year subscription
