I have a wedding to attend in Keene NH on Saturday August 11. I thought I might head up a day early and ride Killington, or Kingdom Trails, possibly Bear Brook State Park in NH. on Friday. Anyone interested in meeting up for a ride?

I'm in if you want to hit Burke or any of the Stowe/Waterbury trails.

I was thinking about Burke. Maybe a little lift served and then some good old fashioned XC.

TC,

You calling me a hot dog?

They don't run the lifts at Burke. If you want to ride the DH trails, you have to work for it.

Wishful thinking I guess.

Waterbury has a heinous doubletrack climb followed by some really really nice singletrack downhill. Great for a 1.5 to 2.5 hr ride. From Keene, Rt 12 to 91 to 89 exit 10.

Burke has some of the most fun buffed singletrack available anywhere. Great for 2.5+hr rides. From Keene you'll be able to blast straight north on rt 12 to Bellows Falls then 91 to East Burke/ Lyndonville.

Travel time will be pretty similar to either spot, approx. 2.5 hrs.

...Or you cross Philpug's picket line and hit up Killington for some lift accessed velo-schusching.

Nope
I was referring to the last trip report by Epic and Whiteroom that consisted of bad weather, and eating hot dogs.

That could be dangerous. He and Highway Star are serious about that.

Even see what happens to someone when they cross a Teamsters picket line? It's not pretty:.

Unfortunatley, or maybe fortunately because I need the money, a work project has come up and I will be sweating it out Thursday night and Friday with a quick turn around deadline. So Friday 8/10 is now out for me.

I am thinking about hitting K.ton Sunday, 8/12 around noonish.
