When I mentioned powder skiing, the goods, interesting terrain, I meant steep. My skis are sort of narrow, so I need some grade.
Not necessarily, but 400 is nice, I like the front side of Seven Springs, PA. They have some fun trees, good average grade with some steeper pitches, even a cornice of sorts....
Just wasn't sure if you were looking for between 500-1000 or less than 500. Kinda sounds like 400-700 would be ideal if steep and untracked.
Pitches off of an upper lift in the western half of the US are about the only thing I can think of with the conditions you're looking for, but they'll be skied out fairly fast. A whole little mountain of that just for yourself???
Sounds like maybe you need a genie. Sorry I can't help, but hope you find it. Let us all know if you do ... just kidding.!
