Help me: I had a dream I was snowboarding. What does that mean?

I have skied all my life. I have been on a skateboard but never a snowboard. This morning I realized last night I had this dream I was snowboarding for the first time down this steep trail at my local mountain that I have skied hundreds of times. In my dream I made perfect snowboarding turns down some difficult hard packed areas with moguls. The thing is I have never even thought about snowboarding. Now I have this dream about snowboarding in the middle of the summer. You would think I could have had a skiing dream in the middle of the summer. But no, I got to have a snowboarding dream. : What does this all mean? Help me?

It means you're AM/FM.

Did you come off the slope and hit the Blue Oyster Bar for Apres?
It could mean a few things like:
1) you had some Mexican too late in the evening
2) you had an anti-social episode during that day that was coming back to haunt you
3) You had bad karma from something you did.

Wait it out and you should get over it.

If not, were you cold ?
Were you being chased by a Bear?
If so, did she have ski poles? AND, were you hoping to get caught?:

I'm sure I'll have more questions later to properly Help

I want to thank everyone for trying to help me out here. I do remember it being an enjoyable run as snowboard runs go. I remember being concerned about catching my toe edge and doing a face plant. Don't remember being cold or being over exposed. If I was being chased by a bear I would remember that part. I had many a bad bear dream during childhood. Now being caught by a female bear that could be a nice sequel. I will report back tomorrow on part two if it happens.

You would think others would have ski or snowboard dreams during the summer. I can't be the only one.

Your not the only one who has dreams about skiing/snowboarding...I had one last night, and have them all the time. Was going down the mountain with some female, and I pulled a 360 trying to impress her. Can't remember if it did or not. I landed it though!

Perhaps you are a snowboarder who is dreaming that he is a skier searching for answers on-line. Wake up, this is all part of a horrible nightmare!

I was out on the boat all day Saturday and Sunday and must have got too much sun. That has got to be the reason for the snowboarding dream Sunday night. Its the only logical explanation. Last night I waited up for that female bear with the pointy ski poles and she never showed. : Now I will never know if her intentions were honorable or not. I may need more sun.

You ever notice how it gets all weird here in this forum during the summer. Everything seems to make more sense in the winter. Yuki most times I like what you post here but sometimes you scare the hell out of me.

Who me?

The operation I hear ain't too painful. First they snip the frontal lobes, then they stretch the arms .... actually, they shorten your legs so as to appear to have longer arms, then they ..... after a few shots of electro coma/shock (for vocaulary reduction purposes), you get a lifetime supply of Popecia to complete the effect. This offer is endorsed by the Swedish Association of Surgeons any price quoted are via SAS air freight and a non-refundable one time processing charge of $19.95 is included. Offer void where prohibited by law.

Hmmm, you could probably do with a little less hell in you.

When we review the notes and the patient history there are two salient things that the patient has "presented" on several occasions during candid and lucid moments.

Those salients are:

Face plant

and

Bear

Sometimes indeed psychiatry can be reduced to cliche where appropriate.

"Sometimes you eat the Bear and sometimes, the Bear eats you ... "

Yuki, what about the difference between Bear and Bare?

I see that some of the inmates have escaped from the asylum we jokingly refer to as "Song Title Fun" (this ruse keeps them placated, and is cheaper than Thorazine...), and have now surfaced over here practicing armchair psychiatry without a license. Don't be alarmed, they are (relatively) harmless. But to keep them distracted while the men with nets strap them into restraints, here's a song that can only be played in this thread...

"All The Things You Could Be By Now If Sigmund Freud's Wife Was Your Mother"

by Charles Mingus

= ???

The lyrics are indeed significant. Right on the money!
The answer to Treks question is simply .... Yes, we are.

(back to the refugium of lyrics .... or I may work on my twine ball today ... after taking inventory of the tin foil hat collection .... busy, busy, busy)

Hmm...maybe you were actually having a waterskiing dream?

It means you are a homosexual, not that there's anything wrong with that...

LUKE, I am your father. Welcome to the Dark Side.

It means you have taken the first step towards sanity. It was enjoyable, right...imagine how much better the real thing is...
