Nice putting faces to some of the names I keep reading on this forum. Good skiing, though I wish we had started earlier. Skied Chair 6 a couple of times after we split up, but Imperial was closed (not that I would have gone up there; I did once and did not enjoy the descent.)

Hope to catch up with some more Bears later in the trip. The Barking Bears Forums RULE!!!!!

Great to ski with you and the hubby skibum:

Today was a bit chaotic due to all of the change of venue stuff, but still an awesome time.

Please come out for more days and you'll get to ski with great people all day:

It seems that I played phone tag with Uncle L all day and we never did manage to meet up. Sorry to have missed skiing with all of you, but it sure was a great day of snow and turns! I WILL TRY AGAIN NEXT WEEK! (Thursday)

Hope the vertebrae are better for you Mike.

Yes; girlfriend is visiting the Beehive state in LCC. Wife approved my solo Wednesday as she must stay in town to present how more widgets can be sold at a greater margin. They’ll be out this weekend. I’ll have to be very nimble and avoid the three of us together on a lift ride…now that could get ugly :

You mean this one?

Exactly what kind of Virgin Clutch is that?

I guess The Stem found its way back into my technique
Bump, you are so smooth in the trees. Tom and I can't thank you enough for your patience.
I have another picture of some evidence of my talent in tree skiing. Look for it in the lounge a bit later.

That run was one of the many highlights of the week (so far). I had a blast skiing with you two in there. Uncle Louie later told me that I picked a pretty tough line to drop into. I think we all would have been better served if we had traversed a little farther and dropped into a line that had a bit more breathing room.

I can't wait to ski with you guys again, be it at a mountain or a mole hill

Make sure you have enough energy for Friday night left or you will fall asleep in the corner somewhere at the Pasta Party.

I will contact the bf and the wife as we have no stereo in this unit and will need some entertainment.

SugarCube and I have a Pasta Potluck dinner planned here this Friday night 4/4/08. All LGC'ers are welcome (don't just fly in for dinner).

Please post if you are attending at the Pasta Party thread in the Gatherings and Let's Go Forum.

Here are a few shots from yesterday afternoon. The terrain is the upper bowls at Peak 7 in Breckenridge. The pitch is right around 40 degrees and it is cut up heavy pow.

Top left is Dookey. The other two are bumpfreaq.

What can I say other than WOW!!!

Abasin was spectacular today! Sunny skies with light wind and fabulous snow. They reported 1", but there was 3" in the parking lot and much more up high. There was a total of nine of us on the hill and Rick(Fastman) was there with Disski filming for a video they're putting together.

Ready for LIFToff in the morning are jgiddyup, bumpfreaq, at_nyc, Ernie, Niki, Icanseeformiles, Alta6, DonDenver and Garyskr.

If you look VERY closely you can just make out our group at the top of Zuma cornice with DonDenver in the blue jacket(3X zoom from the bottom of the bowl just doesn't cut it). Followed by DonDenver in the bowl.

People(not us) hiking and making fresh tracks from the high traverse on the East Wall. Some of those tracks starting from the high traverse are ours and the one looking like a CRASH is mine:

I feel like a broken record, but today was an awesome day. The weather was super, the snow was very good and the company was great.

AT_NYC was feeling a bit too ventilated today so ingeniously, she packed a few of the vents on her helmet with snow

Here's to our wealth and luxury to be able to take time out to get on top of a mountain and slide around on it. We are lucky, lucky people This activity feeds our spirit when others spend all their time feeding their families.
