a must watch!. No sound needed. Too funny!
I don't know, I think the sound added a fair amount... kinda like Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (Lite).

Thanks Phil, that was fun.

Surprise, japanese.

They always do these shows, its so... abstract.

I was wondering if I would have gotten inside the tire to roll down there when I was a kid............nah! I wasn't that dumb, or was I?

If you can't remember you probably were.

Man, the things I would roll if I had a ski jump in the backyard...:

I'd like to roll one down OL in the winter with big bumps. You'd need someone to spot the line, give people a heads up. What would a tractor tire do to the lodge at Bear?

Man, what great summer fun. I used to love doing that when I was a kid, especially tractor tires.

Here's something similar for Italian Job fans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=764mD9sh-Wo

I was kind of surprised that the 484lb tire destroyed the ramp.

I think that was an add-on "kicker". Ski Jumps don't normally have an upward takeoff (unless that is just an optical illusion in the video).

I had this crazy idea while watching this. Remember those guys who go over Niagara falls in a barrel.....?

...jeez, what more excitement is there in life eh'!!...

...and I thought house & yard projects, hikes, and paddling filled the void. Boy am I ever wrong....;-)

Were they on a roll? or maybe treading lightly
Was it U-Tube or tubeless
To much laughter, it's making me tired
Time for a recap

Truely a worthy entry!

Mini + crazy British guys in Norway + rockets + skis for a mini

LAUNCH!

Yup, on the cutting edge of cocking about

Who knew? Minis prefer twin tips
I love these guys/ that show.

How do they come up with this stuff?

Someone needs to study self arrest techniques.
And now I want to crawl into the big one and go for a ride....the landing looked smooth enough........
The mini, of course, needed to spread out its skis like the jumpers do to get more aerodynamic---back to the drawing board!!!
There was an urban legend about finding a dead drunk student in a baby carriage at the base of the jump in Rumford Maine.

That was before UTube. Great piece on the Mini, and good for the Norwegians to let them do it. I wonder what the damage deposit on the jumping facility was?
