What was the question?

When streaking was popular in the seventies naked bodies and ski mask were the norm.

A grand improvement over ski masks and assault rifles.

Helmets and skiing naked? I'm a little old and rotund. Sounds like a good spectator sport.

Seinfeld Quote turned to Ski quote:

Yuki: Oh... You mean... shrinkage.
PhillippeR: Yes. Significant shrinkage. I was out in the cold!!!
Yuki: So you feel you were short changed.
PhillippeR: Yes! I mean, if she thinks that's me she's under a complete misapprehension.
Yuki: Well, so what's the difference?
PhillippeR: What if she discusses it with Trek?
Yuki: Oh, she's not gonna tell Trek.
PhillippeR: Couldn't you at least tell her about the shrinkage factor?
Yuki: No, I'm not gonna tell her about your shrinkage. Besides, I think women know about shrinkage.
PhillippeR: How do women know about shrinkage?

I supposed placing the helmet over your private part is not considered naked skiing even without any clothings.

Just mentally picturing naked bump skiing: Excuse me while I go throw up

So it turns out that they have a NAKED PIG SKI CARNIVAL in China.

Here is just a sampling of the not so goodly translated text that will bring humorous to your smile faces, and one of the scary photos you will find, when you click on link above. I think the guy on right may count as wearing a helmet, although he not altogether nakedly (for which we can be thankful). But to "quote" the guy on the left...

Quote:
There’s an unwritten tradition in the Ski Field of Cresterbe Mountain, Colorado in U.S.A. Every last day of the skiing reason, all players would take off their clothes; ski cross the resort nakedly without any protection. It attracts many fashionable fans. When “naked pigs” mischievously rush into gathered crowds at the foot of hills , many conserved people’d be surprised and angry. Every year resort’d get a great many complains made that the tradition is bad for good manners. Nevertheless naked pigs still hold that it’s a super pleasure to intimate with nature when they take off all the clothes and ski under blue sky and white clouds.

The way of Competition: same with those before. Wear anything you want. To be unusual is very important. Skill of skiing or snowboarding is not important. Speed’s not importand either. Sponsor: not sure now.

Yuki thanks for the dedication. I think.

As for the poll answer, I don't really care if Lindsay Kildow wants to wear a helmet or not.

BTW that photo above scared the hell out of me. You got to warn people with a pre post.
I'd like to be Lindsay Kildow when I grow up, but then I'd have to go back in time, and I don't think they've invented that particular pair of skis just yet.

trekchick: We can always dream.

Going forward in time they will say, "my parents told me that when they were young they could ski naked without a helmet."

The good thing about skiing naked is that when you foul yourself you don't ruin any clothes.

And that ladies and gents is what you have to love about Epic.

All of this; first hand knowledge, all from experience, nothing second hand from books and stuff.

This Thread is beginning to resemble the Nature calls thread (another must read)

If you must tuck it in your boot, its probably better to get termofit liners so you have ...........well, you get the idea.
