Have any of you guys skiied Elko Snowbowl or the Ruby Mountains in Nevada? -- How good are they and more importantly; how accessible are they??

Why not try Mt. Bailey?


Not the easiest to get to but, the price is right for Heli/Snowcat skiing.

In a good snow season, the heli-skiing can be pretty good in the Ruby's! Their safety record is adequate, but they do have a couple/ few incidents... :

I skied there a few years ago on a spring backcountry trip, there was lots of snow and nobody else around. The cornice on top of the ridge was up to 40ft high, nice.
