176cm 05-06 Volkl Gotamas - Mint condition

I bought some 05-06 176cm Volkl Gotamas from Sport Conrad this year to use as my goof-around twin tips on powder/deep crud days. Due to the return of my Nordica Beasts and some other ski acquisitions I've found these skis aren't going to be used very much. Feeling guilty hording this good a ski I've decide to sell them.

They are mounted with new 06-07 Rossi Axial Pro bindings at the sidewall center mark for a 325cm boot. I am willing to sell them with or without the bindings. They have less than 20 hours on them all on deep, soft snow. I'll be getting them out of storage this weekend and will provide pictures to anyone that wants some.

So, make me an offer for the skis or skis & bindings. I'll decide which to accept in a very biased fashion.....being an old-time EpicSki member of in the PNW will be factored in.

BTW - I will be driving through Northern Idaho & Spokane on I-90 the evening of June 7th then through the Portland/Salem mess via I-84, I-205 & I-5 the afternoon of June 8th. I could arrange to meet and drop them off if you are along the route.

No. I have decided to sell them to a bear from Utah that has been a member for a real long time and lives where they will get lots of use.

Hopefully you didn't pay too much for them, since the sport-conrad deal was right around $260 brand new.

Harry dunn, The prices you looked at were in Euro dollars. Once you do a conversion to US Dollars then add in the cost of shipping . A 250 Dollar pair of skis is really $450. by the way no Gotamas were at that price.

Harry -

When I got the skis the dollar had sunk even more. Add in freight & a shipping surcharge I paid well over $260. Besides, these are a cult ski (many consider the best Gotama made since they had the original flex & real sidewalls) so you can throw any pricing rules out the window. Utah49 got them at a price that he could turn around and sell them for a nice profit if he wanted.

Thanks, but I know what I'm talking about. I bought five pair of them from sport-conrad.com and paid an average of about $275 for them. The price they listed included the VAT tax, which you remove if you live in the US, which was usually about 20% of the price.

Edit to add: these were on their website for 200EU. If you take out the VAT, it brought the price down to ~180EU, which is around $235. They shipped all the skis you ordered together for $65 (50EU), so that makes each pair of Gots right around $265-270, depending on how many you ordered. Trust me... I bought them in 177 and 183cm.

Oh, I don't doubt it, and I can't blame you one bit. I just wanted to point out the ridiculous deal that SC was offering this winter for unknown reasons- I should have bought every pair they had.
